BEWARE: Dishonest and Deceptive Practices! At the time of inquiry, we were told that a full-coverage car would be more expensive but would cover all damages. However, after completing the transaction, the representative informed us that we would still be liable for €200 for any scratch, even though this was not our understanding due to a language barrier. When we raised this, he dismissed our concerns, saying the paperwork was already done and assured us there would “usually be no issue.” We even requested full coverage for peace of mind but were told it wasn’t available—no wonder they avoid offering it! We took a video of the car before taking it out to document its condition. However, when we returned the car after just three hours, the representative shockingly claimed there was a tiny scratch on the front bumper. The scratch was so minuscule that it was impossible to spot even in the video we had taken unless you zoomed in significantly. Despite this, he insisted that €200 from our deposit would be charged and refused to discuss the matter further. This is a dishonest and fraudulent operation. Avoid renting from ADA Car Rental at all costs. They exploit customers and use petty excuses to withhold deposits.

Really happy with our experience! Would definitely rent a car here again! The service was perfect, no problems, the price was also ok and everything was uncomplicated. They took pictures before they gave us the car and checked it out with us, the same when we gave it back. It is also a benefit that the car rental is in the city and not at the airport, so you can enjoy Nice for few days before renting a car and look out for the places around.

Excellent agency to rent with my ‘young’ license. Rented their 7 seater Renault Grand Scenic for my approximately 1000 kms trip from Nice to Tuscany, Italy and back. The car had 44000kms on the odometer, but it was in impeccable condition, I had 0 issues during my entire trip. And the agency was very flexible and helpful towards all my needs. Got a last-minute automatic rental, and was very pleased with my Peugeot 208. ADA has somewhat limited hours (you have to return by 6pm and they're closed on Sunday), and I returned at 6:10pm after a delay on the road. Fortunately I was able to reach Anouar, the employee who had rented me the car, and he helped arrange a way for me to leave the car and return the key the next day. Very grateful to Anouar for his help, especially when he wasn't on the clock! Great service, highly recommend.

ADAs price was the cheapest in Nice. We got the car we ordered (Fiat 500) and all scratches / dents were noted with photos. I was given the chance to note any other imperfections before driving off which were added to the rental notes. The car was returned in the same condition and my deposit returned. Very painless indeed

Chaotic company. They forgot to note the level of petrol (should actually be full, it wasn't) and then subsequently withdraw money from the credit card account, although returned correctly. Made online booking. When picking up the car they told me that when it should be returned there would be no one in the agency to receive the vehicle because of holiday. They wanted extra money for someone to come to the agency. After 4 weeks still waiting for my wrongly debited money to be refunded. Car and e-mail contact was ok. They tried to help but they are far away from bigger and clearly more professionel companies. Addendum to your answer: it speaks for you that you face the allegations, but unfortunately that doesn't make things any better, it only confirms the chaotic impression. I had NOT booked a return at the airport but at the rental station. And it took about twenty E-mails and around two months until i got my money back, which you had irregularly debited. I recommend that you significantly improve your processes. I wish you success.
